TriggerCap (AirSoft) firearm toddler safety. Because chewable vitamins should be harder to get into than squeezing a trigger. Give yourself extra time to grab that gun from your little monster.

Notice: These are prototypes and not intended for actual use. A few variables are different for the trigger guard of each model, and requires several strength and holding tests such as prying, sliding forward, down, rotating down, and ease of removal by an adult and still may not function as intended.

I think this could be made parametric. It needs guard width, length and height mostly. The back and front would need several different styles as well.

This was designed for single print, and I made these with PLA, 20% infill, no supports or rafts and they flex and hold up well with limited testing.

There are many other factors making this unsuitable for actual use, such as deformation of darker PLA in sunlight or heat, becoming weaker over time, not being used properly, or breaking/coming off from dropping the (AirSoft) weapon.
