they are often depicted as sea creatures
that lured sailors to their deaths
with their songs.
My model is a fantasy rendering.
She has a aquatic appearance,
some of the features of a human female
but clearly not a beauty!

Truespace 5 used to cut the flat bottom.

I made the test print without infill and 2 shells. I used no support, the arms are a challenge for some printers, I use a replicator so the platform only moves down. For printers that move the build platform, i think the arms might cause issues. so in breif no support was needed on my machine, some might need support.

I will do another print (in a day or so) using infill. The test print has a few pinholes that might go away with infill. As an alternative finish using a goop of ABS/acetone to fill in defects like the pinholes. (the attached pics are without any finishing). I have had great success with using the "goop" to fix separation cracks and top pinholes.

I suggest a decent size print to get the full effect of the scales and facial details that would get lost on a smaller print. my stl has the size I printed it at. roughly 100mm (4 inches)

I did another print using 10% infill. and larger. It prints much nicer in the larger size.
