I have so often destroyed the small lever on the RJ-45 patch cables, when sorting or rearranging patch cables. Some cables have a protective jacket but most have not and the ones you do yourself have not. I couldn't find a finished thing here so made this. You just pull it over the RJ-45 plug and the lever is protected from breaking off. There is also a version you can put a label on or write on if you like.
