i decided to work on a much easier model having struggled w/ hair on a few other models these last couple of days. mickey is pretty much complete. i just have to set the eyes. he is 100% manifold. test slicing works ok. will need supports. hopefully the tip of the tail doesn't give me the same problems as hair thin walls do, or tip over--his feet should prop him up, but don't print until i do just in case he does.

3x subsurf should be plenty. he scales reasonably well. otherwise i can't think of anything else i should mention here.

oh yeah... one minor issue i forgot to resolve: his widow's peak is rounded while his sideburns are pointy. i'll try both pointy and both sharp to see what looks more like the original later on.
