My daughter asked me to make her favorite coffee mug in plastic. Here is the result.

The print shown was scaled 1.4 size in ReplicatorG

volume:

scale = 100% volume = 5.67 fluid ounces (US) = 49.678‬ cc's

scale = 112.16% = 8 fluid ounces (US)

volume = (5.57 fluid ounces) ( scale % / 100% ) ^3

ANSYS users:

mk_mug_120602a.mac creates the geometry and meshes it in ANSYS or ANSYS Ed

my_exp_reflect_yz.mac displays the full mug graphically

To convert the ANSYS elements to a .stl file do this:

! create the .stl file ! see thingiverse.com/thing:4421 for the following macro ! and execute the macro ! ansys_2_stl_101012a,'coffee_mug','x'
