Descrição
I scoured Thingiverse for a small elephant figurine to give to my girlfriend for Christmas this past year, but didn't find any that I liked. So, I made this for her, and she loves it!
Use this semi-anatomically-correct figurine depicting an elephant raising its trunk in happiness to decorate your living room, elephant shrine, evil-but-animal-friendly mad scientist lair, or any other room or space in which to just want the world to feel the love of an elephant. Give it to loved ones, trick a real elephant into thinking that this is its child, or do any number of other equally fun and entertaining things with this elephant model. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination! (...and the applicable limitations of your 3D printer, but that's not the point.)
Instruções
Print the elephant using exterior support (I used 25% infil and 3 shells with ABS, raft recommended), remove support structure (being particularly careful around the delicate tusks), clean, and enjoy!
(Note: The default picture for this Thing shows an earlier iteration of the model, one that was smaller. Because of this, the tusks did not print thick enough, and broke off. In the newer .stl that I uploaded with this Thing, however, the tusks have been scaled with respect to the body, as well as the entire model being scaled up, so there should not be a problem printing the tusks, provided you have a reasonable layer height [I used .44mm for the print shown, which I have since fine tuned, to give you an idea of the vertical resolution required to print this].
