Modelo 3D Simple Printer Speed Test Objects por grandysims no Thingiverse

Descrição

These Items are designed to allow you to test and measure the maximum speed that your printer can successfully print at. They are: 20mm Square 10mm high rectangle with 1.2mm walls and .5mm floor

50mm Square 10mm high rectangle with 1.2mm walls and .5mm floor

150mm Diameter Cylinder 10mm high

To use these bring one into your favorite slicer and set you speed at whatever speed you want to test and print them. I suggest you use .25 layer height to get the best results from a .4mm nozzle.

To measure your actual average speed pick a spot or corner and use a stopwatch to check each pass several times to find out how long each pass takes. Then you can compare the actual time to the expected time.

If you set your slicer to 100mm/sec for the 150mm circle each pass should occur in 4.71 seconds. The 50mm Square each pass should occur in 2 seconds. The 20mm Square each pass should occur in .8 seconds

Each level with a .4mm nozzle will have 3 passes so you could measure level to level if that is easier.

Each of these items test your machine for different situations. The 20mm square test your actual maximum speed for small detailed parts. The 50mm Square test for average sized parts, The 150mm Circle test the actual top speed of your printer.

You can then use this information to create ideal slicer settings for your future prints based on what you are printing.

There are 2 primary failures that can occur with this test. In one case your printer may not be able to hold accurate dimensions, 20mm, 50mm, or 150mm. The other case is your extruder may not be able to extrude the plastic fast enough and you will get skipping and underextrusion.

EDIT: I changed out the 150mm Circle because the original did not print well at all. I would suggest the following settings: 3 Perimeters, 0 top layers, 0 bottom layers, 0 infill. If you have bed adhesion issues try a skirt to see if it helps.
