Hey there, so i decided to remix (rebuild) the Case for a couple reasons.
- I only need one MOSFET, a dedicated (External) MOSFET for the Hotend is overkill imho.
- I Wanted the Openings for the Cable routings to be bigger.
- Several other minor Changes ... which leads to...
- no .F3D file for the original available. (thats why i rebuild it instead of remixing)
The case in general is pretty nice, since i wanted to add or remove a couple things my Version is somewhat different.
PLEASE NOTE:
The original Z-Endstop is NOT compatible with this case or its original, the right of the 2 screws fixating the Endstop is blocked by the case, its nothing you can quick fix with for example a Lego block or similar. :)
If you rather want to put another hole into the Case so the original Endstop works, feel free to, yeah an F3D file is included. :) (oh and yeah i aint no Fusion360 Wizard... so bare with me please.
Give the original Designer some Credit, all i did was adding onto his design.
Cheers
Update:
reuploaded all 3 files due to an issue i found out about after a friend printed the case. my print off the original file works fine but the newer Version is a little more forgiving when it comes to tolerances.
Update 4 July 2017 Added a Dual Mosfet Version by Demand (Still think its unneccesary :) )
Additional Notes:
To Mount the Case and Mainboard to the frame you use the 4 M3 Bolts&Nuts that originally were holding the Mainboard in Place.
To screw the Cover onto the Case you heat and insert 3 M3 Nuts in the corresponding holes. (Couple seconds with an ordinary lighter holding it with a screw or something)
To screw the Mosfet in place you use 4 selftapping screws.
