The docking station is 100 mm wide, 100 mm deep and 40mm high. The ipad station is very stable and when mounted makes a good nightstand while the Ipad is recharging.

Make the walls thick (2mm) and the bottom at lease 3 layers. Set the fill to just 10%. This will use 3 ounces of ABS plastic. When the build is finished remove the anti-warping disc (mouse ears) at the outer corners. File to finish. Insert the 30 pin recharging cable with the label facing forward and route the cable through the bottom channel. Enjoy. I have included the openscad design if you wish to modify this thing. You can also use the STL version without the anti-warping disc if you have managed to conquer warping on your system.
