This is my entry for the Nintendo Switch Challenge on Myminifactory.com Give me a like on myminifactory to help me win a 3D printer!!! This is a link: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/32322
I propose this project to solve some problems that i found during my research on Nintendo SWITCH. In particular, i fixed my self on three main problems:
-The device hasn't an optimal support angle to play when it's positioned on a deck.
-There is no screen protection.
-When you are outside on a sunny day it's difficult to see what is on your screen because of too much light and reflexes.
The solution for this problems is a multifunctional cover made in 2 pieces connected with simple clip system that give you a possibility to have a lot of different positions and angles to have when you're device is in front of you on the table o deck.
Front cover part is a screen and sun protection. When cover is closed you have your screen protected and when you are outside you can position front part to protect you from sun rays.
It's all 3D printed and requires very small amount of support only for back cover part.
You'll fine 2 versions of this cover:
-One with nintendo logo
-one with no logo on it
PAY ATTENTION how to print central connection parts! You'll probably need to scale it on 101% to have a nice fit.
In slicer i used 6 perimeters to have enough force on connection parts to support front part.
All settings will probably change a bit deppending on what material you'll be using. PLA, Abs or others... For my cover i used Ice Filaments PLA.
