A stencil in the shape of the Apple logo with small handles so it can be lifted off with ease.

Not exactly pushing the boundaries of 3D design and printing...but may raise a smile with anyone who likes both apple cake and apple products (like me!).

I use 100g less sugar and replace the almond extract with vanilla extract. But hey that's me - I live life on the edge.

Place the 3D printed apple logo on top of the cake then dust with icing sugar and remove.
