Inspired by great and mighty Action #CHESS http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:19733 I have done own version of chess2bot set.

All the pawns are the same, but there are lots of ways to assemble the bot

for one color set print:

one King + one head one Queen two bishops two knights two rooks eight pawns

connect head to king and king to queen.. assemble hands and legs in any order you like to create your own chess bot

It's better to print the figures in 120..150% scale. Rooks and bishops are better to be printed in horizontal position. Bishop could be substituted by two head-to-tail connected pawns

King and Queen are tend to each other, hovewer you might connect them in different ways creating non humanoid bodies.

there are many ways of connecting figures into combinations: for instance, even two pawns can be connected in two different ways (head to tail, and tail to tail)

at the same time each figure can be connected: pawns and knigts with two other figures rooks, bishops and queen with three other figures king with four

pairs which could not be connected directly are: knigt and rook queen and knigt
