Printed with 2 shells and 100% infill PLA using 0.1 mm resolution on the Makerbot Replicator 2 using rafts and typically support too.

A ring will typically print in ~30 min.

The OpenSCAD files can be easily be modified to use any motif (use e.g. the heart version).

Change the ringsize variable in the OpenSCAD files to make a better fit. Ring size is in mm (inside circumference) - For conversion to other ring size definitions please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_size

Remember to download the stl motif and place it in the same directory as the OpenSCAD file (the origin of the stl motif is found in the OpenSCAD file).

The childrens cut in the bottom of ring is for more flexible wearing - it can easily be removed in the OpenSCAD files by not calling the module in the assembly.

Print ring horizontally for maximum strength - needed in particular for ring thickness below 2.5 mm.

The New Year 2014 versions were printed upside down at 0.15 mm resolution in dual colour by changing filament during print using Z pause at 3 mm (including raft).
The dots in the dice are painted black.
The brilliant cut stone (coloured 5 mm Zirconia) was obtained from a commercial source (http://www.mg-quartz.de/) and glued.
