A game for the tots to learn many skills including memorization, concentration, association.

The design is made to use .125 material. I used Baltic Birch. Simply cut the design out, glue up the storage box and you are ready to go.

1. Set your laser to color map so that red is an engraving and black is a complete cut.

2. Glue up the box. I find the easiest way to do this is the interlock the sides with the bottom laid out flat and run a thin bead of glue along the joint and then fold up the sides. I then use a small dry brush, such as an acid brush, to remove any extra glue.

3. Glue up the box cover in much the same fashion as the bottom.

To play the game:

Turn all pieces upside down on the playing field (floor, coffee table, etc.) Each player takes turns flipping over two pieces. If the pieces do not match, they are returned to the upside down position and the next player takes their turn. If the pair is a match, the person removes the two tiles from the field and sets them aside. When all the pieces are removed from the playing field, the person with the most tiles wins.
