The open sides face down when the tree is glued together.
Best to paint the tree trunk before you glue it all together.

If you are scaling the tree down then use the thicker files.
This tree will be 5 blocks high when put together.

Tree4.stl has all the blocks to make the tree, but is too large for my printer.
If you want to use Minecraft Papercraft with your Minecraft figures then scale the print to 60% and it will come out the right size.
I print and then if there is room left on the paper I turn it around and print again. The paper must stay face up, you want to print on the other end not the other side.
Not sure you would want to print the one called TreeStanding.

Once you print the parts you can just stack the blocks to make the tree. You can glue it together if you want or keep it loose so Steve can chop it down. Print more blocks and use them to build Steve a house. Paint the blocks as any blocks you want them to be.
