M&S Nortek NW65RS / N65RS mount for Amazon Echo Dot 2nd gen. Have one of those intercoms in your house that you never use ? Make it smart with this mount and a low cost Echo Dot. To make it extra clean, disconnect the 4-wire from the master and the remote unit and use a 24VDC Meanwell power supply with a DROK DC-DC Buck Voltage Converter 4.5-40V 12V to 5V/2A (Amazon) to re-use use the low voltage wiring to power the system. ** Edit 1/22/2017** For whatever reason, my Echo Dots need a hard reboot every so often. I got tired of opening the panel and pulling the plug. After tracing some of the leads with a multi-meter, I found that if you pull one of the wires (white in my case) from the in-wall cabling and solder it to one of the middle lead behind the "Talk" switch as shown in the picture, and just connect the white speaker cable that is already soldered to the board, you can use the "Talk" button to "reboot" the Echo Dot.
