Today's #3DPrintmas model is Voltorb from Pokemon. This was a fun and easy model to create. And I think it turned out looking really great.

I created the model in Fusion 360 by cutting a sphere in half, sketching out the eye details and intersecting them with the top half of the sphere and pushing them in slightly.

Then after printing it out I handed it off to my wife who sanded, primed and painted it. She sprayed the bottom white and did the same for the eye region of the top. Then she use a sponge to dab the red coloring on the top and dab black around the inside edges of both sides. That way, when she glued them together, you could see a faint black line.
