If you can use your iPhone as a flashlight, why not use it as a lamp? This stand is designed to be used with your iPhone to create a standard desk lamp.
This is an entry to the EVD Absurd iPhone accessory contest, but feel free to print it out, test it, and adjust it to suit your needs.

Requires bolts and wing-nuts for pivoting joints.
