This thing is a customizable lighthouse form generator.

It was created as a project for me to learn about catenary curves (the curve that a free-hanging chain takes, and used in many built forms to efficiently deal with gravity).

You can customize: the diameter of the top, bottom and hollow centre; the number of courses (layers); plus some other shape tweaks.

The thing can be rendered as a full stack of courses, or each course can be rendered individually.

Each course is a slice of a cone, as this better matches the way real lighthouses were constructed. The upper and lower edges of each course lie on a perfect catenary.
