Descrição
Jigsaw puzzle made from an L-System drawing from the system: PREMISE : YXF Rule 1: X=X+FY Rule 2: Y=X-FF Angle: 60° Now, depending on how your Lsystem program evaluates these rules you may or may not end up with the same drawing. But I have confidence in the programmers over at sidefx.com (the make the movie special effects program Houdini that's been instrumental in creating fx for a bajillion movies)
Instruções
There are several layers of clues on the board and the puzzle pieces themselves. I can solve the Gen7 one in about 15 minutes and the Gen8 in about 3 hours.
In the file the layers are labled and pretty straight forward, I think. Please let me know if anything's mucked up.
I reccomend using:
- 1/8" thick (or there abouts) transparent or translucent acrylic for the puzzle (or you may want to make the pieces out of wood and sand down the hard edges)
- 1/4" thick MDF for the backing. Or you can just play with it on a flat surface. It's a little unweidly that way though.
To bolt the two layers together you'll want:
- Four 1/4" carriage bolts 1/2"-3/4" long (preferably zinc plated)
- Four 1/4" wing nuts
Also, be careful, the edges are sharp. They were initially designed to fit 2 by 3 snugly on an 18" by 24" laser bed.
