Modelo 3D Adjustable Z-Probe Mount por ClownishCarnage no Thingiverse

Descrição

This is an adjustable and modular z-probe, originally designed to use the Makerbot Microswitches on a delta printer, however using 3.02 for the lower part should allow the use of other switches. The Makerbot Microswitch boards do not fit in the conventional Z-Probe position on Delta printers because the board size interferes with the arms. This design allows a bottom mounted switch which is triggered via a lever. The modular design allows replacing individual elements to fit your printer.

You will need:

  • 9 M3 Socketed screws varying lengths
  • 9 M3 Nuts
  • Long #2 or #1.5 Allen Wrench
  • Spring

The Mount

Base (z-ProbeMount.1.00.Base.stl) - The base which acts as a mount to the effector. Since screw hole placement can vary depending on your effector, this part was designed separately so that it can be replaced without having to change the rest of the system.

Top (* z-ProbeMount.1.00 Top.stl*) - The Top mount allows sliding the probe further away from the effector or moving vertically.

The Z-Probe Body

** Base ** (z-ProbeBody.3.01.Base.stl) - Not to be confused with that Mount's base. This has an area for the spring. This mounts directly to the Mount's Top, but also requires the Body's Top piece as well.

** Upper ** (z-ProbeBody.3.01.Upper.stl) - This is needed to keep control of the lever and have a lock position for the probe.

** Lever ** (z-ProbeBody.3.00.Lever.stl) - For depressing the switch.

** Lower v3.01 ** (z-ProbeBody.3.01.Lower.stl) - This is one part switch mount. It's specifically designed for the Makerbot Microswitch PCB mounting pins. If you are using a different switch, consider using the v3.02 instead.

** Lower v3.02 ** (z-ProbeBody.3.02.Lower.stl) - This is not tested, but can be used for other switches with different screw hole widths. This will not work with the Makerbot Microswitch since the wider design would interfere with PCB's mounting pins on the bottom of the board.

** Coupler ** (z-ProbeCoupler_1.07) - This is for adding tension to the spring. This isn't the best and you might be better off with one made of metal. If you do use this, make sure the screw is on the front (towards the switch) instead of facing towards the back. Otherwise it will hit the effector.

** Full ** (z-ProbeFull.3.00) - This is not meant for printing purposes, but to be able to view the parts in relation to one another.
