I want to expand on the UFO that a made earlier this year and came up with this design.

Also I want to point out that my knowledge of electronics is armature at best. So please do your research if you don't know what your doing.

For the Glass file I printed it then, made a mold of it, then poured clear resin to get the final look but not as clear as I wanted.

Software: Arduino IDE

The only thing that's not mine is the code for the light effect that belongs to Pat. Once I get Pat's permission to distribute his code to others I will update but, until then you can use the one that comes with the Adruino IDE from the library Adafruit Neo Pixel (you will need to install it), Example Buttoncycler.

Just a quick explanation to help assemble the pieces together.

1. Put together the top and bottom UFO pieces. They will be snug but, should snap together.
2. File the hole on the handle so the pin slides freely through it. Assemble the handle by glueing the 2 grips together over the handle. Once this has dried connect the handle to the UFO top using the pins. you shouldn't need to glue the pins but, you can if you want to.
3. Glue the Tracker-beam to the bottom of the UFO. It should fit around the circle quit nicely.
4. Now you slide the Neo Pixel Ring up the Tracker-beam and mark the holes that your going to drill.
5. Glue the bottom of the glass to the moon.
6. If your going to use the battery clip you can screw it in. I used #4 1/2inch screw
7. At this point your going to solder and assemble the electronics. The button and the battery wires go through the bottom of the moon through the tracker-beam and assemble in the UFO body. 8.Once the electronics is working you can glue the top glass to the UFO and just snap the window in from the top to bottom. last slide the battery cover and snap it in no screws needed.
