Make a caramel using 1 cup sugar in a medium sauce pan.
Add sliced apples along with 1tbsp salt, toss and remove from heat.
Make piecrust with 1/4 lb butter, about 3 cups flour, and 1/3 cup ground cinnamon.
Roll out picrust and fit into pie tin, place in freezer.
Strain apples and reduce the caramel+apple drippings. Add a bit of corn syrup and a twist of lemon.
Place apples into piecrust, slather with caramel, bake in oven at 300F for 45 mins
Slice and place on Digitizer
