This is a prototype humanoid development robot platform. Our intent is to make a platform with the "function over form" mind set.
Feel free to comment, change, improve or add on to our designs. These are free for everyone to use for educational and non-commercial applications.
We hope to gain a good understanding of the motions that are required for a proper humanoid robot platform. We hope to mimic the human structure as much as possible in terms of motion. Upon completion we will move onto Mark 2 which would have thought for different types of actuators, components, electronics and batteries.
A few disclaimers for those of you attempting to print this thing.
- It has not been printed on our side yet - therefore - have fun
- This is not a final version - this is Mark 1 a.k.a. v1.0 alpha
- No thought was put in for servos, motors, muscle wire, air muscle or any other actuator
- No thought was put in for electronics on the body
- The only spot we thought about electronics was in the head
- The head was designed to fit two web cameras, 4 microphones, 1 microcontroller (i.e. arduino), 1 embedded pc (i.e. raspberrypi) and a few components (i.e. gps, compass, gyro, ports)
- The Animusoft Corporation cannot be held liable for any damages that may be incurred by working with Animusoft Bot Mark 1
