Since it's real Dutch weather here, I wanted to keep my kids a bit busy and being creative (besides dad getting creative :P )

Made a sculpt of a Monarch Butterfly and the primary idea here is that kids can paint it themselves (acrylics) and to be really creative ( I got young kids ;-) ) you can trace the wings seperate with a pencil or pen, color it's wings and glue it for example to the back. After that, get a piece of string and hang it up!

I know, it's not THAT exciting but hey, as long as it keeps kids happy ;-)

Don't forget to print the sides such that the good part show's upwards ;-) I had the right wing in the picture printed not on it's back... You can glue the wings if you want.
