Since there is a couple chessboards in thingiverse I decided to make my own. My objective was to create a fully printable chessboard without the need of support.
This board is suitable for playing chess and spanish checkers. Its design is modular, that means you can change whatever color you want to combine.

The sizes are: L(420X420), M(340x340), S(260x260) with a height of 6mm.

The weight of a Large chessboard is only 380gr. (PLA) with my printing settings.

I printed all sizes with:
0.2mm layer height
2 shells
3 top layers
2 bottom layers
Infill of 20%
Extrusion widht of 0.5mm
