A4 sized (297 x 210mm) work area mini vacuum table for your CNC machine.

Great for making PCBs or any other small work.

Runs from a standard vacuum cleaner and sucks pretty hard! I am using a Vax bagless model - the hose fits into the 'Vac adaptor' and is retained by the 'Vac retainer' after removing the handle / wand attachment. I included 3 holes to put small screws or rivets into the retainer but in the end it just pressed together snugly.

The base is made from 32mm MDF and the top from 6-8mm Acrylic.

After cutting the channels etc in base (see DXF layer names for cutting depths) coat the inside with varnish to seal it before assembly. Use a bead of silicone around the vac adaptor and under the bed, as seen in the photo.

Use self tappers or M4 machine screws to attach the bed to the base.

The mounting points are set at 160mm spacing to suit my T-slot table. Adjust as needed.

Ideally, lightly skim the bed after mounting.
