For this model we take on Minecraft per the request of a viewer of my channel! I decided to go for a nice variety of characters, objects and animals in the game. So I chose Steve, the pig, and a TNT block.

These are pretty much purely square objects and don't have a lot of detail. Most of the detail in the game comes from the textures applied to the blocks. So I put a few lines around the blocks to mark out areas of different color to allow for easier painting and just providing some detail to the plain print.

Post Processing: Step 1: Sand/File any rough spots. Step 2: Apply plastic primer. Give it a few coats, letting it dry completely in between. Step 3: Apply the paint. We used a combination of a sponge dabber and a paintbrush to apply water based acrylic paints.
