This kit has 4 of each nucleotide in DNA and 2 caps for the top and bottom of the strand, this is enough for a 8 base pair long DNA strand. This kit has labeled nucleotide bases with A and G being twice as long at C and T representing purines and pyrimidines and that patterns making only A fit T and C fit G. The squares on the top and bottom are set at a 45 degree offset to keep the helix structure the same for both strands (glue is still advised). If you want to go the extra mile then you can print off the T' as red, A' as green, C' as blue and G' as yellow; these are the colours used to represent these nucleotides in fluorescent DNA sequencing.
