Update! 9/14

I have tried out many spool holders and this style is by far the one that i fancy the most, no screws, no bolts, no 608zz bearings, no logos. It fits many different spools sizes (Spool wheels must be smooth).This does feed very smoothly, not too smooth that your spools unwind (a problem i had on other spool holders) but just right.

The ring now has clips that will keep your spool rotating in the right direction. Check Instructions.

Printing at your highest resolution = a smoother ride

Even though it is simple to print you may need to stick it to your table (I used some poster strips cut to size, it really depends on the weight of your filament, if it can hold it down). You may or may not need some lubricant on the spool holders bevel (I used some olive oil). Depending on your method of extruding you may or may not need a feed guide.

My Latest revision of this simple design are the clips that will keep your spools from spinning, but keeps them rolling in one direction (hopefully that makes sense I apologize if it doesn't) you will need 4 of them
