ThingMaker is the printer that I designed a year ago and now I finally finished building.
This is the extruder designed and built by me, with my CNC milled (self-built), aluminum block.
The basic idea I took from the MakerBot MK7.
is designed in two parts which are assembled together with the motor with the 4 screws of this.
On the front you apply a 60x60 mm fan.
The pieces are designed so that part of the air arrives above the engine to cool it and the other clean air keeps the toothed pinion. This brings down the dirty air from a duct downwards.

ThingMaker e' la stampante che ho progettato un anno fa ed ora ho finalmente finito di costruirla.
Questo e' l'estrusore da me progettato e costruito, fresato con la mia CNC (autocostruita), in blocco di alluminio.
L'idea di base l'ho presa dal MK7 di Makerbot.
E' progettato in due parti le quali si assemblano assieme al motore con le 4 viti di questo.
Sul fronte si applica una ventola da 60x60 mm.
I pezzi sono progettati in modo che parte dell'aria arrivi sopra al motore per raffreddarlo e altra aria tiene pulito il pignone dentato. Questa aria fa scendere lo sporco da un condotto verso il basso.
