3folD, the foldable RepRap 3D Printer
This is my mechanical engineering degree's final project. It's weight is 6.5 kg and it can print a volume of 200x200x200 mm. The design takes care about vibrations so this printer has low inertia carriages for X and Y axis. It works with bowden and 3mm filament, it can be easily change to 1.75 mm. The base is printed in four parts and glued with superglue and some screws.
I have upload all the CAD in SolidWorks format and all the plans. You will also find the firmware ready to use.
