A simple and strong quick release for you to quickly mount and dismount your camera, or whatever, on anything you want. I am using this to mount my DSLR on a time lapse panning rig.

Another good use is to place this on a tripod that doesn't have a quick release.

Press in the two nuts, screw down the handle with the flat head bolt.

Stick the pan head bolt in the bottom of the the quick release plate and screw it to your device.

The more you turn the handle the tighter it gets.

Moving the handle back and forth causes the bolt to loosen up so it is a good idea to use some thread lock or something to hold the bolt in place. I might modify the part to accept a nylock nut, perhaps a nylock jam nut may already fit.
