This is a case for a USB stick/USB drive. The original (a 4gb PNY attache mini) case was ugly and poorly made, so I printed a replacement.

Notice how my name is written on the side of the case. Unlike other manufacturing technologies, the cost of a 3D-printed object increases does not increase much with greater complexity.This creates interesting possibilities for embedding information within physical objects (in this case, the name of the owner of the USB stick).

1. Disassemble your USB stick.

2. Measure its dimensions and modify the internal cavity of the case to fit.

3. Add your name, if you like. (I used Blender's text tool.) Text works best when placed on the sides of objects.

4. Print the two parts. Make sure that everything fits.

5. Glue the USB stick circuit board into the case. Try to place the glue on the USB connector, so that it bears the load.
