I wanted to make a stand for my shaving brush that used minimal material and could preferably be printed without support.

It also needed to look good, hence all contours and rounded edges.

I have a Muhle shaving brush, but this should be suitable for other ones too.

The print turned out very nicely, but did end up needing support material to print the lip from which the brush hangs.

The part was designed with PTC Creo (formerly Pro/Engineer), and I can send the source file upon request.

I printed this on a UP! 3D Plus Printer, using minimal support material (set to 10 degrees) and 25% fill. The print took about 5 hours to complete with a z-resolution of 0.3 mm.
