My father was a carpenter. When I was little he made a whole bunch of these intricate wooden Christmas tree ornaments that slitted together. So here is my MakerBot version of it.

The slitted version simply fits together, so just print out two of them and perhaps add a tiny dab of glue.
The other is just a flat snowflake.
