This board should be covered in leather, my prototype is leather and it folds into a book shape. paint each checker square as a block and the exterior like a stone castle wall with windows bars doors etc. i don't have 3d printer but would like to have one of these boards for myself someday. i made a prototype out of foam and it works just like staunten chess but a better perspective of a real battle.
