I got an iPad Pro and most tablet stands -including the previous one I have uploaded here - are not robust enough for me to trust them with my device. So I designed this one, with an adjustable pitch and a very robust structure.

I use 3mm thread inserts I bought on Amazon; they're brass cylinders 5mm in diameter and 5mm in depth, that I heat up with a soldering iron and embed in the plastic, where the knurled edges make them very strong. Do yourself a favor; order 100 or so - they're like $8 and worth their weight in gold. If you don't want to go to the trouble, you can try embedding m3 nuts the same way - it works, but it's a lot harder. There are knurled threaded inserts in the pivot bar at the ends, and in the support strut where the screws come through.

This has very adjustable pitch and the hooks are out of the way so you can type onscreen if you're so inclined. It's about 130mm, so it's not a trivial size, but it's very strong.

I've uploaded the STL files, and I'll follow with the .f3d file soon for folks who want to remix it.
