Descrição
[2025] This design is outdated for a number of reasons. The OpenSCAD source contains deprecated code, and the resulting STLs have alignment issues that were no issue on +0.4mm layer thickness, but may cause problems on todays quality printers. The same goes for the version w ventilation [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10926]. Feel free to update the source file yourself. [/2025]
A case for the http://reprap.org/wiki/RAMPS1.3 board. Used here to drive a small milling machine with pyCAM/FiveD/ReplicatorG toolpath.
It is a tight fit that does not leave much room for ventilation so take care that the drivers do not run too hot.
Instruções
The case was printed, with raft, on a RepRap. The covers are both printed on a Makerbot with heated build platform.
Things TODO:
the board has a tight slidefit (is this proper english?) so be careful not to break the reset switch;
USB connector hole has to be shifted a few mm upward;
Use a drill to make room for the lower (Arduino Mega) board in the cover, see picture;
Optionally drill a small hole for reset switch (paperclip) access.
