Made from laser cut 3mm acrylic and a 3mm CNC mill. You will need additional components
3 & 4mm bolts and knots 2 x 25mm (outer ร) bearings 1 x ~12mm (outer ร) bearing 1 x Timing belt (~5000mm) 3 x pulley (Should fit the timing belt) 3 x Nema17 stepper motors 1 x Arduino Uno 1 x CNC-shield 3 x DRV8825 stepper motor drivers 1 x Aluminium 14mm tubing (~2500mm) 4 x 3d printed 'Linear Bearings' 1 x 9g servo
Load this special version of GRBL down on the Arduino Uno - https://github.com/robottini/grbl-servo This enables you to use a servo for the penlift. The servo can be lifted by sending "M03 S50" to the machine and "M05" for resetting.
Software for streaming gcode: https://github.com/winder/Universal-G-Code-Sender software.
The attached grasshopper script (.gh file) can be used to generate and send g-code to the machine. http://www.grasshopper3d.com (Input 2d geometry on XY plane in mm)
