Descrição
This is a 3x3 snake cube puzzle done with a 3d printer. After assembling the snake don't cheat on solving the puzzle. :) well maybe you should, just think of how long you could spend solving it if you had a block in the wrong position. LOL
Hope you have fun with it.
Instruções
Either print individual blocks or 2ea of plate1 and plate2. If you print the plates then you will have 3 extra blocks. Print plate1 and plate2 in different colors if you want the checkerboard look. After printing you may have to run a drill through the holes.
It took about 12 hours to print all of the blocks on my ToM. All of the blocks are hollowed out though so it saves plastic but not printing time, or maybe it does no idea I didn't print a solid block. :) I used 1 extra loop and 100% fill on SF. I tired less fill but the holes and the support around the holes didn't look as strong, but my ToM is far from perfect.
After printing the blocks you will need to thread the blocks on to elastic cord or stretchy string in the order in the snake diagram. I used super glue to hold the knots at each end to make sure they don't come loose. Pull the elastic good and snug, I had to push and pull the blocks around to make sure the elastic got tight all along the snake. You want the blocks to be tight so that there is just enough movement to allow blocks to flip around as necessary.
