STLDroid is an opensource STL viewer for Android phones. It can be downloaded from the market under https://market.android.com/details?id=softwarepoets.stldroid

The source code is available via https://github.com/justjoheinz/STLDroid This is an initial release, if you have any feature requests, please file them via github.

Currently on ASCII STL files are supported. Binary files will be supported soon. You can download STL files via http://thingiverse.com or use your filemanager or the app itself to open STL files from the SD card. Once opened files can be rotated and zoomed using touch gestures.

The apk file is also included, so you can download it directly.

• 31 July 2011: version 1.1 is available via the market. It includes support for binary STL files and removes some glitches. The download below will not be updated.

• 2 August 2011: version 1.2 should offer better support with a variety of different file managers such as "Android File Manager" "OI Filemanager" etc. Again - the download below is not updated.

• 10 August 2011: version 1.3 improves lifecycle management and introduces a progress bar for binary STL files.
