Descrição
Introduction
This cylindrical dice jail allows you to put misbehaving (unlucky) dice "in jail" until they're ready to roll well again.
Dimensions
The dice jail is 104 mm high and 97 mm in diameter. This dice jail can easily fit more than a standard set of seven 16 mm dice. The bars can move upward by about 23 mm, which is slightly more than needed for a standard d20.
The unsupported version has a volume of about 140 mL, while the supported version has a volume of about 220 mL.
Description
The bars are fairly smooth in order to look like old-fashioned, wrought iron bars. The base and top are textured to look like wooden planks, as is the sign. The sign reads “DICE JAIL”. In the middle of the floor, there is a four-leaf clover for luck.
Operation
To use the dice jail, raise the “DICE JAIL” sign upwards. The two bars it is attached to will raise, allowing you to insert or remove your dice.
Printing Tips
I strongly recommend that you add supports when printing the regular version as it is because there is significant overhang. If you use a resin printer, the presupported version should work well.
For the presupported version, I used numerous small supports rather than a few larger supports because I don't like the pock-marks that larger supports leave on the model. Feel free to add your own supports to the unsupported model.
