Nice easy bird feeder. I recommend organic supports everywhere.

For the rods you can use wooden dowels or metal like I've used in mine. (From old broken feeder). They just need to be less than 6.5mm in diameter. 

The rods I've used in the picture are 6.34mm diameter and 127mm long. For the one holding on the top it is 79mm in length. 

Just use string and hang it!
