By editing the OpenScad code of my Piet Mondrian star I made another thinner version to decorate the window. Color is changed after the first 3 layers. Here you can choose any color. For the next 6 layers I chose white, and the last layer - the spokes and circles - is printed in black.

I printed the stars with PETG, my favorite material.

Starting with a thinner version of the mondrian star I came to the opinion that a more regular pattern is better for a ‘window star.’ So in comparison to the mondrian star, spokes, spikes and color is programmed in a regular pattern. The circles are not regular, and the spokes are not aligned to the spokes.

For me it is great fun to program OpenScad designs, which look not technical but more random.

I am using Octoprint to bring my gcode-Files to the printer.
