Happy to introduce my version of the SNW phaser. 

There are versions that let you choose between a static non-moving prop and one that has moving trigger, removable power cell magazine, and pop-up display. The magazine and display are original designs since those functions have not been shown on the prop yet, just added them for fun. 

Update log

February 15 2025 - Added a belt holster. Will add a dropped down version later that straps to the thigh. 

September 14 2024 - Added a diagram showing how to assemble the moving parts. 

September 5 2024 - V3 parts - Added an updated P1 with more official details. The P2 has been updated to fit the new P1. Also updated the P1 Grill with bigger holes that might help you print it better. The new files are labeled with v3 and have replaced the old versions. The old files are available in a separate folder. 

Type 1 phaser (P1) notes

When building the removable P1 phaser there are two types to choose from:

  • Static (no moving parts) - Files labeled P1S - Much easier assembly
  • Moving parts - Files labeled P1M - the pop-up display uses a simple hooked lever to lift the screen up by rolling the silver wheel.

Type 2 phaser (P2) notes

There is a ‘Fore face’ part that covers the ugly overhangs that would normally be visible in the emitter area after removing supports. This is optional though if you don't mind the overhangs. 

Magnet options

There are options to use 5x5mm or 6x2mm magnets. I recommend 5x5 for best hold. 

Grips

There are 4 grip variants to choose from:

1 – Static no moving parts
2 – working trigger but no removable power cell
3 – working trigger and removable power cell, fitted for 5x5mm magnets
4 - working trigger and removable power cell, fitted for 6x2mm magnets
