Many times it annoys me that I have no easy way of putting a wire to a battery when I'm working or a prototype or try to troubleshoot/fix a battery powered device.

This with an addition of two M3 screws (or any other - just widen/drill the hole a little) can make an easy to use, universal battery powering station.
Also a piece of 1.75mm filament is required to secure the desired location of the elements.

It can hold AAA, AA, A, CR and button batteries. Probably others too, just make an adapter.
