Modelo 3D 6U mini home server network rack por Ujang Karnadi no Printables

Descrição

A mini home lab server rack, designed for small business that don't require much network hardware.

feature:

  1. Cable duct management, to hide your ugly cable
  2. Acrylic enclosure to keep dust away from your device
  3. 120 fan to keep good airflow
  4. cable patch way in the enclosure where your cable passthrough

Future Idea:

  1. Make the left and right enclosure as quick access with magnet and a door hinge

If you complain it is not rigid, you build it wrongly. You need the acrylic panel to make it more rigid. Tightent your bolt properly, using washer and spring lock washer. you can add alumunium profile for the frame if you still think it is not rigid enough.

I have build and tested it. It hold my 2 tplink sg108 without problem.

my setup are, one tplink SG108E managed switch, one tplink SG108G umanaged switch, one 12V PSU one 5V PSU, my main router are tvbox X96 Max plus with openwrt installed. I plan to add other small tvbox too in the future for different kind of mini server.

I have put all the groundwork, if you want to build this and want to support your device, there is a blank 1U plate that you can edit.

If you don't want an enclosure, use the front/back frame support and 2 pcs 1U blank panel on the back, if you use an enclosure you don't need the front or back support.

use m6x10 and nut of course for connecting the frame, for front mount panel use m3 and m3 cage nut. I am too lazy to copy and paste and then move all the screw and nut, so please figure it out your own how much the screw and nut are needed.

I print all the component including the rail rack since it is expensive for me, you can buy your own rail if you have the money but maybe you need to adjust the design so the hole mount fit.

Power outlet:

I use one 12v psu and one 5v psu attached to din rail. Since almost all my device are 5V, tplink switches and x96 max plus are 5v. I use 5.5mm and 3.5mm DC jack, female with nut on the 1u panel, and male to male on for the cable jumper.

Recommended setup:

Use din rail on the bottom and back enclosure to mount other device like this
