This is a bait station for insects, in other words, a container that houses insecticide or poison in a way that's attractive and accessible to insects, but less accessible to pets & other wildlife.

I was prompted to design this station (this is an entirely new design) after my cat got into a similar-looking station I found online and ate the gel (she was fine, and the same chemical is in anti-flea medication commercially). This station has been tested with her favorite treat inside & been confirmed to work.

This design features low entrance points for easy insect access, while its enclosed structure keeps the bait secure. The station has a removable top for easy refilling and cleaning. Its compact size allows for placement in corners, under appliances, or other insect-prone areas. The lid latches in place the prevent small paws from opening it easily.

It is also much more cost-effective than buying commercially-produced bait stations. Empty bait stations range from $0.20-1.00, and pre-filled stations $1.00-$2.00 each, while these only cost a few cents each, plus a few additional cents of bait per deployment and can be indefinitely reused.

Printing

Any material.

Slice as oriented. Remove the heated bed & wait for it to cool down completely before removing the part, since removing it early may lead to warping & entirely ruin the print.

Assembly

Place a dab of gel or liquid bait in the middle of the station. Place the lid on top & clip it into place.
