Clever Skyscraper Box for City Storage

Original design for the 2024 Christmas Community Print Drive.

Both parts of the “Skyscraper Box” print without supports. Designed to fit my “Mailbox” model, it could certainly hold a few other small items. The base may be flipped to hold the rest of the building for added height, or use it as a separate adjunct structure.

Additional Information and Print Settings

The top piece is 59 x 59 x 150 mm. The base piece is approximately 68 x 68 x 70. I printed with 0.25 mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 3 top and bottom layers, and 15% rectilinear infill. Note: Pay attention to the bridging on the base. Depending on your slicer, you may see better bridging at an angle of 45° (use slicer settings or rotate the object about the z-axis). No supports. No raft.
